Short biography

Konstantin Ivanovich was born in 1958 in the Orenburg region, in the village of Dimitrovo in the Ilek district. He got his higher education at the Magnitogorsk Mining and Metallurgical Institute named after G.I. Nosov: in 1980, he completed his studies in mining engineering ("Technology and Integrated Mechanization of Underground Development of Mineral Deposits"). His professional career began in 1980 at the enterprises of the “Karagandaugol” production association. After that, he worked at various enterprises in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Bashkortostan, having various positions such as mine foreman, section chief, chief engineer, and mine manager. In 1997, Konstantin Ivanovich became the head of the Yuzhuralzoloto association in the town of Plast, Chelyabinsk region. From 2000 to 2001, he had the position of CEO of CJSC Yuzhuralzoloto and CEO of OJSC Chelyabinskugol. From 2001 to 2007, Konstantin Ivanovich was the chairman of the board of directors of CJSC Yuzhuralzoloto and the CEO of OJSC Chelyabinskaya Ugolnaya Kompaniya. Since 2007, he has been the president of LLC UK YUGK.

Professional and scientific activity

In addition to his professional career, Konstantin Ivanovich is also involved in scientific and political activities. In 2003, he successfully defended his candidate dissertation on "Improvement of the technology of development of gold deposits at great depths of the Kochkar deposit". Since 2005, he has been a member of the United Russia party and a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Chelyabinsk region. He is also a member of the Committee on Ecology and Environmental Management and serves as Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Chelyabinsk region.

Awards

Konstantin Ivanovich Strukov's awards and merits are also impressive. He has been awarded the departmental insignia "Miner's Glory" of the I, II, and III degrees.
